Dr. Grant Disick

Grant I.S. Disick, M.D. is one of only a few urologists in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach area fellowship trained in Laparoscopic and Robotic Urologic Surgery. He is on staff at West Boca Medical Center, Boca Raton Community Hospital, and Delray Medical Center. Dr. Disick is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

He has been written about in the Boca Raton News and has appeared on WPTV discussing laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Disick firmly believes in the adage of "Available, Affable, and Able" for providing medical care. His office offers the latest in state-of-the-art urologic care with the welcoming feel of a community practice.

Dr. Disick received his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine where he was also inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr. Disick completed his residency training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, serving as Chief Resident in the Department of Urology. While in New York, Dr. Disick also trained as a resident in Urology at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Following residency, Dr. Disick was selected for an accredited clinical fellowship in Laparoscopic and Robotic Urologic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, an affiliate of UMDNJ/New Jersey School of Medicine. He gained subspecialty training there in the management of kidney stone disease, as well as in a variety of minimally invasive endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic urologic surgical procedures. Dr. Disick has extensive experience with robotic prostatectomy, robotic radical and partial nephrectomy, and robotic pyeloplasty, and is trained in the minimally invasive technique of Cryoablation for urologic cancers.

Additionally, he was a participant in the first Northeastern clinical trial cases of HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound), a promising new therapy for the treatment of prostate cancer.

Dr. Disick has authored numerous articles in the field of urology, including publications in Urology, Current Urology Reports, and the British Journal of Urology, and co-authored a chapter in the 3rd edition of Hinman's Atlas of Urologic Surgery. Dr. Disick has also presented at several national and international urologic conferences and is a member of the American Urological Association and the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association.
